  The Campbell family is a very old one in Pickaway County, Ohio. Robert Campbell was born there and married Nancy Hanson who lived on the old Bennett Farm in Deer Creek townchip. Mr. & Mrs. Campbell settled in Wayne township and raised Barbara , Isabel, Robert, Samuel, Nannie, Nellie, and Emma. Robert Campbell married (second) Rebecca S. Westenhaver of Westfall and the children of this marriage were: Fannie, Jessie, Wilda, Ollie, Frank, Grace, and White. Later Mr. Campbell remove d to Kinderhook where he became postmaster and station agent and lived for 10 years, one of the most highly respected citizens of that place. Mr. Campbell is one of the oldest residents of For a number of years he served as president of the Pic kaway County Agriculteral Society and has held many of the important township offices.
