- Death of Mr. H. Smith.
Many of our readers will regret, to hear of the death of Mr Henry Smith, well-known in the town as an architect and surveyor, which took place on Wednesday night at the age of forty four. Mr. Smith, who was brother to Messrs. James and David Smith, solicitors, was prominently identified with the Burnley Cricket and Bowling Clubs, and was for many years a Volunteer. For some time he had been unwell, his end being hastened by an affection of the lungs. The deceased gentleman leaves a widow and three children.
