      [BOLD:]FARMER'S FUNERAL[:BOLD] Amidst every manifestation of regret the funeral took place on Wednesday at the Burnley Cemetery, of the late Mr. Hartley Halstead, of New Field Farm, who died at the early age of 33 years. The funeral was of a quiet nature, only immediate relatives and a few intimate friends being present. Prior to the departure from the house Mr P T Tuerat conducted a short service. The Rev J. H. Brown officiated at the graveside. Among a large number of floral tributes was a wreath from the Burnley Farmers Association - -Mr Hy. Marshall, of Spencers House. Hurstwocd, carried out the funeral arrangements.
