-
Notes - Lawrence is living with Robert Halstead in the 1841 census and his marriage in 1843 also says that his father is Robert, he cannot be the child of Robert and his wife Ellen as she died in 1806.
However, his baptism on 2 May 1813 in St Peter, Burnley says that his parents are William and Nanny Halstead
This only seems to make sense if Lawrence was the son of Robert's daughter Nanny
- Lawrence is living with Robert Halstead in the 1841 census and his marriage in 1843 also says that his father is Robert, he cannot be the child of Robert and his wife Ellen as she died in 1806.
