- WORTHING OFFICER KILLED
Second-Lieutenant John Halsted Cortis, 3rd, attached 2nd, Wiltshire Regiment, who was killed on June 10th, aged 20 years, was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cortis, of Dennview-road, Worthing. He was gazetted. Second-Lieutenant in March last.
