- FUNERAL OF MRS. SWAIN.
The interment of the late Mrs. Margaret Swain (46), wife of Mr. Edwin Swain, 5, Stanworth Street, Worsthorne, took place last Saturday in St. John's Churchyard. Prior to her illness she was a member of the Worsthorne branch of the Women's Help Society, and members of this society lined the pathway from the lychgate to the church door as the funeral party passed in to the church. The Rev. H. Stones, M.A., officiated at the inferment..
