  	grand-daughter Marlene Hagen and this writer speculated on Floyd's middle name, she thought it may have been "Gerald" - - - but in reviewing page 11 of "350 Years of Halsteads...", I recall that when this book was written in 1982;' Marlene's mom and daughter-in-law of Floyd Halstead, Iva Halstead stated that Floyd did not have a middle name, only the initial [and this is the significance in placing the middle initial "G" in quotes in that original work by this author.
