Harry Worden Halstead (my grandfather-deceased-1930) was married to Margaret May Renard (my grandmother -deceased-1970), they had 3 children: Jean Halstead (female- deceased-1987/88), Junita Halstead (living) and Harry Halstead Jr.(my father-deceased-1986). All of his legal papers are signed "Harry Halstead Jr.", he has no middle name or middle initial. His birth cert., his death cert., his marriage cert., my birth cert., my brothers birth cert. and his last will & test all refer to him or are signed by him as Harry Halstead Jr. Although he is deceased his line goes on :2 children, 5 grandchildren (2 are Halstead & 3 are Simons) and 4 g-grandchildren ( 1 is Halstead & 3 are Gorsky). His "Harry" was not short for Harold, and the reason for all the aka's? we'll never know, he passed on in 1986. My father Harry was one of 3 children, My grandfather Harry W. was one of 5 children, My G-Grandfather Joshua B. was one of 10 children.(I get that info to you as soon as I can)". Harry W. died in an accident on New Years Day in OH (can't find where he's buried or what type of accident) in 1930, Daddy was only 5. Mom's Dad, Daniel John Louis Eastlund died March 28, 1948 with TB ( my oldest grandson Ryan was born on that date in 1996). After Gram'pa Harry's death nanny (my grandmother-Margaret Mary Renard) put her 3 children in a home (orphanage) so she could work. She re-married very quickly to Peter Villano ( d.5/1948 diabetic) and gave birth to twins Mary and Madeline. She removed Jean and Juinita from the home but left my father there. My father was in 2 different homes until he was 16 and then went to a regular school in Brooklyn (he also lived with relatives in OH for a while). When mom and Dad met they were neighbors in Brooklyn. "
