  	Sudden Death at Waterfoot On Saturday morning about ten o'clock, Richard Halstead, a signalman at the Newchurch Railway Station, was taken suddenly ill with apoplexy. He was attended by Dr. Lord and his assistant, but notwithstanding all their efforts he died at three o'clock the same afternoon. Deceased was a steady man, an old servant of the company and much respected.
