  After college was employed at Ostrander State Bank until he entered the Navy Dec 27 1941. Served in the East Coast Atlantic Fleet & 2 years in Phillipines. Discharged Jan. 1946. Entered business with his father & later on road construction. Served several years on board of directors Ostrander State Bank until it was sold. Was a life member in Legion & VFW. A 50 year member of Major Gen. Henry Knox, Boston, MA. and member of Auston, Rochester & St. Paul Shrine Clubs. Had served on city council & Trinity ELC church council.
