    • Scalding Accident. -On Tuesday last. Leese Entwistle. the three-year-old son of Alfred Halstead Entwistle, 26, Worsley-street. Accrington, was playing on the hearth in the front of the fire whilst the mother was making breakfast. A pan of boiling water by some means fell off the top bar of the fire range, and some of the contents fell on the child. In consequence he was severely scalded about the face, neck, and shoulders.
