Halstead married Hannah HART on 24 August 1885 at St Paul, Bury, Lancashire. He was a Velvet Finisher aged 19, a bachelor residing at 23 Greenhalgh Street. His father was listed as George REED, a Pattern Maker. Married in the Parish Church, according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church, By Certificate. The marriage was witnessed by Frederick LONSDALE and Emma REED.2,3
