Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church, by Licence The marriage was witnessed by Stanley Howard OWEN and Gertrude OWEN.5,6 Arnold HALSTEAD witnessed the marriage of Harry MARSDEN and Ethel May HALSTEAD on 13 June 1925 at St John the Baptist, Halifax, Yorkshire.5,7 He was listed in the 1939Register taken on 29 September 1939 at 12 Holcombe Road, Blackpool, Lancashire. He was married, an Insurance Agent, born 19 July 1889. There is an Ian Alex HOWARTH living with them but I can find no family connection at present so may be an Evacuee.8 Arnold HALSTEAD was the executor of Alice HALSTEAD's estate granted on 17 January 1947 at Manchester, Lancashire; £1,382 7s 8d.9
Arnold's death was registered in 1966 in the Fylde registration district.10

In the census of 30 March 1851 at Tunstead, Newchurch, Lancashire, he was listed as aged 6 born Newchurch, the son of Richard HALSTEAD.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 at New Gate Booth, Newchurch, Lancashire, he was listed as single, a Rope & Twine Maker, aged 16 born Newchurch, the son of Richard HALSTEAD.3
