     Albert John WELSTEAD was born on 23 April 1898 at Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England.1
Albert married Muriel Minnie HALSTED, daughter of Frederick HALSTED and Minnie Louisa CHANDLER, in 1925 at Ryde, Isle of Wight, England.2 Albert John WELSTEAD and Muriel Minnie WELSTEAD were divorced in November 1934 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England; Welstead v. Welstead. —Mr. H. S. Ruttle appeared for the petitioner, Mrs. Muriel Minnie Welstead. of 21, Millward Road. Ryde, Isle of Wight, who asked for a decree on account of the adultery of her husband. Albert Welstead, with a woman at an Island farm for some period in 1934. Evidence was given of this, and decree was granted with costs and custody of the two children of the marriage.3
Albert died in 1983 at Portsmouth, Hampshire.4
