Sophia married George HALSTEAD, son of George HALSTEAD and Emily SMITH, on 10 April 1909 at St Elizabeth, Reddish, Cheshire. She was aged 22, a spinster residing at 44 Barlow Lane, Reddish. Her father was listed as Thomas DOBSON (deceased), a Painter. Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church, After Banns. The marriage was witnessed by James McQUINE and Nellie HEAPY.1,2
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 44 Barlow Lane, Reddish, Cheshire, she was listed as a Cap Winder, aged 24 born Oldham, the wife of George HALSTEAD (a Borer (Letterpress), living with his wife Sophia (married 2 years no children.)3)

Robert married Mary RYCROFT on 3 October 1836 at St Bartholomew, Colne, Lancashire. He was a Weaver, a widower residing in this parish. After Banns. The marriage was witnessed by Thomas FURNISH and James ELLIS.1
Robert died in 1841 at Colne, Lancashire.2
