The funeral of Mrs Lilian Halsted Gee took place yesterday at Canford Cemetery, Bristol. Mrs Gee, who died on Sunday, was the wife of Mr Verity H. Gee, of Royal York Crescent, Clifton, and eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs John Weston, formerly of The Avenue, Clifton. The first part of the service at Emmanuel Church, Clifton, was conducted by the vicar, the Rev. W. Bathurst Soole.

The undertaker was Mr George Pakeman, of 111. Whiteladies Road. Bristol.10 Her estate was given Letters of Administration on 21 December 1938 at Bristol, Gloucestershire. The estate was valued at £243 0s 10d.9

In the census of 3 April 1881 at Pasture Lane, Barrowford, Lancashire, he was listed as aged 9 born Barrowford, the grandson of James HANSON.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 1 Milton Street, Barrowford, Lancashire, he was listed as single, a Cotton Weaver, aged 19 born Barrowford, the grandson of James HANSON.4

His wife, Mary, died between 1911 and 1938. He was listed in the 1939Register taken on 29 September 1939 at 20 Garrick Street, Nelson, Lancashire. He was a wiodwer, a Retired Silk Weaver, born 8 June 1871. There was one other redacted person in the household.9
