     Henry Norman Peter Robert HALSTED was born on 22 June 1913, in the Isle of Wight registration district.1 He was the son of George Henry HALSTED and Nellie Edith SWEETMAN.
Henry married Marjorie Mary CONDON in 1937 in the Cork registration district.
Henry died on 5 March 1943 at the age of 29. He is listed as a Captain in the Royal Artillary, Son of George Henry and Nellie Edith Halsted, of Havant, Hampshire; husband of Marjorie Mary Halsted, of Tallow, Co. Waterford, Irish Republic. He is commemorated on the Signapore Memorial.2 His estate was given Letters of Administration on 21 June 1947 at Winchester, Hampshire. The estate was valued at £1,142 7s 7d.3

Heather married Frank Graham LOFTS on 6 August 1949 at British Consulate General, Hamburg. She was a Government Official aged 25, a spinster residing at Henford. Her father was listed as George Henry HALSTED, a Licensed Victualler. Married in the British Consulate General according to the provisions of the Foreign Marriage Acts 1892 to 1947. The marriage was witnessed by C D TURNER and J B R MARTEN.2,3
