     Ezekiel ROWELL was born in 1880 at Waterfoot, Lancashire.
Ezekiel married Mary Jane HALSTEAD, daughter of Thomas HALSTEAD and Alice Ann STARKIE, in 1906 at Wesleyan Chapel, Mount Pleasant, Bacup, Lancashire.1
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 13 Egbert Street, Moston, Lancashire, Ezekiel was listed as aged 31 born Waterford, the Head of Household; a Grocer, living with his wife Mary Jane (married 4 years - no children.)2
Ezekiel died on 13 February 1926 at 1 Entwistle Cottages, Newchurch, Lancashire.3,4 His estate was probated on 6 March 1926 at Manchester, Lancashire. The estate was valued at £212 17s 6d.4

     Tom LUPTON was born on 8 February 1887 at Rawtenstall, Lancashire.
Tom married Annie HALSTEAD, daughter of Henry HALSTEAD and Betsy HAWORTH, in 1909 at the Register Office, Haslingden, Lancashire.1
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 1 Waingate, Rawtenstall, Lancashire, Tom was listed as aged 24 born Rawtenstall, the Head of Household; a Plumber, living with his wife Annie, daughter Lucy (married 2 years - 1 child - 1 living.)2 He was listed in the 1939Register taken on 29 September 1939 at 20 Whittle Street, Rawtenstall, Lancashire. He was married, a Foreman Plumber, born 8 February 1887. He was also involved in ARP Rescue Work.3
Tom died in June 1940 at Ancoats Hospital, Manchester, Lancashire, at the age of 53. His usual address was recorded as 20 Whittle Street, Rawtenstall.4,5 His estate was probated on 1 August 1940 at London. The estate was valued at £429 6s 4d.5
