He was married, a Hardware Travellor, born 4 January 1885; Both Fred and Lucy's year of both is one year out. Lucy is listed as Halstead yet she was Hill when they married in 1947.
Interestingly his wife Constance died in the same quarter saying that she was a widow yet no death can be found for Fred.7
His wife, Constance, died on 8 January 1947 at St Lukes Hospital, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, at the age of 62; Her address at the time of her death was recorded as 17 Senior Street, Moldgreen, Huddersfield.8,9
Fred married Lucy Eugine HILL in 1947 in the Huddersfield registration district.10

Sarah married Daniel LOCKWOOD on 23 October 1875 at Holy Trinity, South Crossland, Yorkshire. She was of full age, a widow residing in Netherton. Her father was listed as Abraham BOOTH, a Farmer. According to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church, by Licence. The marriage was witnessed by Charles LOCKWOOD and James Henry WOOD.1,2
In the census of 3 April 1881 at Ing Cottage, Whitacre Street, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 51 born Holmfirth, the wife of Daniel LOCKWOOD (a Worsted Manufacturer (employing 10 women, 3 men and 4 boys), living with his wife Sarah, sons James H and Arthur, daughters Mary J and Ruth A.)3
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 24 Cherry Nook Road, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 61 born Kirkburton, the wife of Daniel LOCKWOOD (a Woollen Manufacturer, living with his wife Sarah, son George F, daughters Ruth A LOCKWOOD and Mary J HALSTEAD, grandson Charles H HALSTEAD (Mary J and Charles H have been incorrectly enumerated as LOCKWOOD.)4)
Sarah's death was registered in March 1894 in the Kirkburton registration district.5 Sarah was buried on 30 June 1894 at All Hallows, Kirkburton, Yorkshire, by Coroner's Warrent.

In the census of 31 March 1901 at 22 Hampton Place, Halifax, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 41 born Holmfirth, the wife of William Henry HALSTEAD (a Grocer, living with his wife Mary Jane, sons Frank H, Bertram L and Charles H.)8 Mary Jane HALSTEAD travelled to Montreal on 9 July 1910. On the Megantic together with her son Frank Henry HALSTEAD.9 She travelled to Liverpool, Lancashire on 16 July 1910. With her son Frank Henry HALSTEAD. They were bound for Vancouver.10

     Annie HALSTEAD was born on 18 April 1890 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire.1 She was the daughter of Ben HALSTEAD and Mary STOKER. In the census of 5 April 1891 at Charles Street, Lockwood, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 11 months born Huddersfield, the daughter of Ben HALSTEAD.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 57 Steep Bank Side, Halifax, Yorkshire, she was listed as aged 10 born Huddersfield, the daughter of Ben HALSTEAD.3 Annie HALSTEAD witnessed the marriage of Harold HIRST and Martha HALSTEAD on 17 August 1929 at St John the Evangelist, Golcar, Yorkshire.4,5 She was listed in the 1939Register taken on 29 September 1939 at 37 Gramfield Road, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She was single, a Worsted Burler, 18 April 1890.6
Annie died on 28 January 1974 at 37 Gramfield Road, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, at the age of 83.7,8 Her estate was given Letters of Administration on 18 July 1974 at Leeds, Yorkshire. The estate was valued at £236.8

     Percy HALSTEAD was born in 1886 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire.1 He was the son of Albert HALSTEAD and Sarah Elizabeth JESSOP. In the census of 5 April 1891 at Armitage Road, Longwood, Yorkshire, he was listed as aged 5 born Huddersfield, the son of Albert HALSTEAD.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 42 Armitage Road, Longwood, Yorkshire, he was listed as an Office Boy, aged 14 born Huddersfield, the grandson of Samuel HALSTEAD.3 In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as single, a Clerk in Clothing Manufacturers Office, aged 24 born Huddersfield, the son of Albert HALSTEAD.4
Percy died on 19 November 1916 at Pas de Calais. He is commemorated on the Etaples Military Cemetery, France. He was awarded the British and Victory medals.5
