Research Note: Clement Halstead, aged 17. of Blackpool, was drowned while bathing at South Shore, Blackpool, on Sunday. Halstead went into the water with his brother, and apparently was seized with cramp.5

Her father was listed as Robert HOLSTEAD, deceased. By Licence.      Henry HALSTEAD was born in 1809 at St Pancras, London. He was the son of James HALSTEAD and Elizabeth KNIGHT.
Henry married Jemima BURROWS on 27 June 1833 at St Pancras, London.1
In the census of 30 March 1851 at 53 Barclay Street, St Pancras, London, Henry was listed as aged 42 born St Pancras, the Head of Household; a House Painter, living with his wife Jemima, daughters Sophia, Jane, Emily, Eliza, Caroline, Mary A and Clara.2
In the census of 2 April 1871 at St Pancras, London, Henry was listed as aged 62 born Marylebone, the Head of Household; a House Painter, living with his wife Jemima, daughter Clara.3 He witnessed the marriage of Edward MONK and Clara HALSTEAD on 9 December 1871 at St Pancras, Middlesex.4,5
His wife, Jemima, died in 1874 in the St Pancras registration district.6
Henry died on 18 June 1879 at 319 Cold Harbour Lane, Brixton, Surrey. His address at the time of his death was 18 Clarence Gardens, Regents Park, Middlesex.7,8 His estate was given Letters of Administration on 4 July 1879 at Principal Probate Registry, London. The estate was valued at under £200.8
