Hannah Halstead, 26, of 8, Nuttall Street, Burnley Wood, wife of James Halstead, compositor, went on December 14th, it is alleged in the police report, to Mr. Hamer, dentist. Oxford Road, Burnley, to have two teeth extracted She was put under gas, and when she came round she breathed with difficulty. She complained to her husband, who went to the dentist. As the deceased got no better, Dr. Chadwick was sent for and he called in Dr. Mackenzie, who, after examining her, ordered her removal the hospital, where she died yesterday afternoon. The circumstances have been reported to the Coroner, who will hold inquest, probably to-day.4
